Edge of Empire - Vindolanda

Stereoscopic 3D Visitor Attraction

Made for The Vindolanda Trust, and on permanent display at the Roman Army Museum, this spectacular visitor attraction is a fully stereoscopic 3D movie featuring CGI rebuilds of two complete Roman fortresses and sections of Hadrian’s Wall. With a cast of 50 soldiers from the Ermine Street Guard and shot entirely on location at Wallhead crags, The Edge of Empire documents the life of a Roman soldier Aquila, around 200 AD.
